Deliveroo saddles up with UCI Road World Championships
Deliveroo, the British food delivery giant, is the latest to sign up to support the 2019 UCI Road World Championships as an Official Supplier.
Preparations to celebrate the partnership started in early September with thirty Deliveroo riders going head to head for the title of ‘Fastest Deliveroo rider in the UK’ on the 250m Olympic Velodrome in London. All 30 finalists from the event have been invited to attend and take part in the Official Sportive of the 2019 UCI Road World Championships on Sunday 22nd September, where they will be able to put their road cycling experience and their speed track experience together for the medium Sportive route.
With just days to go to the start of elite racing in Yorkshire, the Deliveroo team have prepared a series of games and activities for the public in the Harrogate Fan Zone and will also be offering their sportive riders a post-ride massage at the Sportive. This is the first time Deliveroo has invested in elite cycle racing, with the 2019 UCI Road World Championships in Yorkshire offering unrivalled opportunities to reach a huge audience through spectators and worldwide tv rights.
